Who we are:
Greg Swart and Justin Melman are the Founders of ArtMan Delta, a company that offers scale model aircraft accessories using resin as a primary medium to replicate as accurately as possible scale model aircraft parts, accessories, ordinance and weaponry. Both Greg and Justin are modelers themselves with a passion for extreme detail, historical accuracy and reliable reference material. ArtMan Delta was born as a passion project to give modelers more in terms of details in all areas for their building projects in the hope that through creating accurate and easy to build parts and accessories it would entice the modeler to want to learn more through the provided reference material and data for each parts and/or accessories with the hope that it would entice the modeler to want to use more ArtMan Delta products for their future builds.

The design process is completed with the modeler in mind to ensure simplicity in removing the parts from casting blocks and print supports, resulting in quicker builds and greater enjoyment out of the hobby. ArtMan Delta favors less components per part or accessory in order to reduce the amount of time needed for part preparation, assembly, priming, painting and attachment to the model.

ArtMan Delta aims to provide reference material included in instruction sheets, unlike other manufacturers, for the above purposes of assisting a modeler complete any research necessary to complete their projects quickly and more accurately thus allowing them to move on to the next project sooner without having been bogged down by any hard to find photographs reference or information as is a common problem. basic construction guidelines will be provided and they box with each set of accessories or parts with mention of an expanded instruction sheet being available online through various platforms.

As is a common problem with all resin sets available on the market, protection of the parts is essential as they can be fragile and brittle due to the properties of resin when used in recreating high levels of detail for such things as aircraft parts and accessories. ArtMan Delta has selected harder, more durable boxing with protective inserts in order to allow for safe shipping of the parts and accessories with the aim of the contents arriving intact at their destination after potentially more than one journey to their final destinations. A large reason for this is also to reduce the number of complaints, returns or negative interaction with a customer so that ArtMan Delta’s good reputation remain intact.

Roadmap:
Initial projects are largely aimed at the SAAF and foreign Mirage III and Mirage F1 fighter aircraft and any resulting variants in 1:32, 1:48 and 1:72 scales. Other ordinance sets will follow and gradually incorporate but will not be limited to, aircraft ordinance from around the world, thus developing a larger and wider range of product offerings from ArtMan Delta.
